Father’s Day Gift Ideas
Buying gifts for my husband has often been a challenge. He doesn’t have a lot of hobbies and always says having our family around is all he needs. Nice, but not helpful! We want to spoil him and often don’t know how! I hope these gift ideas help you with your hard to shop for guy!

1. Leatherman
My husband loves his leatherman! Great gadgety kind of tool! This is one thing he really enjoys, gadgets!
Funny gift story!
One year, my husband lost his leatherman and I was going to get him a new one for Father’s Day. However, as I was cleaning the car, which he had checked several times, I found his leatherman. It was under the seat and managed to get wedged between the seat bracket and the door frame. It was amazing I found it, especially since he had searched the car several times. I decided to wrap it up and give it to him, again. It still makes me giggle! He was so surprised to open his lost leatherman and even more surprised I had found it right where he had looked!
2. Wallet Ninja and other Small wallet type tools
This is a fun little tool that can be kept in a wallet! My husband was so surprised and excited to open this, one year! He has used it several times and for something so small and portable it is very handy!
When my husband looked over my post he insisted that I add the next two that he REALLY likes!

Credit card companion
3. Watch
Watches are becoming so retro with everyone carrying around phones that have a clock. It can be nice to have a watch for a special occasion and keep the phone tucked away.
Another fun idea is a pocket watch! I got one for my husband when our 3rd child was 4 years old. We had it engraved at a jewelers. When we went to pick it up, our 4 year old was so taken by all the sparkly pretty jewelry! She wanted a diamond ring so bad! I was sure a tantrum was coming! Thankfully, daddy’s little girl gladly traded a diamond ring for a piggy back ride! That pocket watch helped to keep kids quiet during church many times! They loved to sit in daddy’s lap and look at the detail on the watch. He would show them how to properly open and close it so as to not damage any part of it. (It had a button release.)
4. Noise Canceling Earphones
Noise canceling earphones! With my husband who works from home, these are really helpful!
5. Electric Razor
A nice electric razor helps your man keep kissable. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like kissing stubble.
6. Cargo Pants
Every man needs a good pair of cargo pants!
7. Outdoor Drink Holder
Great idea for being outdoors recreating or working in the yard! No more losing his water bottle in the tall grass he is mowing!
8. Yardzee- outdoor game
Outdoor games are always a fun idea especially for a man who loves doing things with his family. A great gift for dad and something to bring everyone together.
9. Sawhorses
Folding Sawhorses- tools are great but storage can be a challenge. These folding saw horses hardly take up any room at all.
10. 2 Way Radio
My husband LOVES to find any excuse to use his walkie talkies! We have used them to find friends at big events, like parades, traveling with friends and family, amusement parks, camping, and anywhere else he can think of. He doesn’t care that a cell phone is just as handy! He loves the walkie talkie!
11. Tactical Survival Gear
Paracord bracelet with all kinds of stuff attached to it for survival! Everything you need should an emergency happen while in the outdoors: whistle, flint fire starter, compass, and a scraper knife.
12. Thinking or Game Book
My husband is a programmer, so when my daughter saw this she had to get it for him! One of his favorite things to do is play Minecraft with (most) of our girls and neighbors! Our neighbor runs a Minecraft server for our neighborhood. One day a neighbor boy found out what my husband’s online name is and now he thinks my husband is a rock star, because everything he builds is so cool!
Happy shopping for the hard to buy for man in your life!
